KENA is a part of a group companies which was originally dealing in General Trading and construction projects due the good opportunities of construction business in Iraq after 2003 and the rebuild of Iraq and its infrastructure.
Everything was in demand, from consumer products to industrial machinery. KENA was able to meet the customer's needs due to the General Trading that Iraqi economy was developing rapidly, specialization was the order of the day. The management chose to concentrate on supplying to the burgeoning Oil and Gas industry specially in Kirkuk and Basrah. It was the obvious choice at that time due to the oil boom after 2003. KENA quickly progressed and affirmed its position among the large companies supplying the Oil industry in Iraq. As part of KENA's strategy of recognizing the needs of it's customers, a new service was introduced, whereby the overhaul of major rotating equipment was undertaken at various sites throughout the region. This service was further extended to include the refurbishment of turbo machinery components utilizing specialist repair techniques. Many overhauls and repairs, covering a wide range of different makes of turbines and compressors, have been successfully completed based on the close cooperation of KENA and its clients. During the last two years, KENA was expanding it's business all over Iraq to include to SOC, MOC in addition to NOC, NRC, MRC in the same industry, accordingly, a great success was achieved which could be seen continuing and progressing more and more.
